The Silk Route Cottages is located in the quaint charming Sumur village at Nubra Valley. It’s about 119 kilometers towards the north of Leh over ‘Khardung La’ which is one of the highest motorable roads in the world.

It is a family-owned and run property belonging to the Kalon family that has historical and ancestral roots in Nubra over several generations. It is one of the finest and oldest Eco Resorts in Leh, Ladakh. The property stands out for its serene backdrop of beautiful apricot and apple orchard surrounded by tall poplar trees. Guests can enjoy stunning views of the valley while relaxing in the comfort and peaceful surroundings of Silk Route Cottages.​
